Commercial vacuum sealers prevents oxygen from degrading perishable food, greatly extending freshness, flavor and shelf life. I kept hearing how chicken that had been in the freezer for 4 months just tasted so good. I would think sure it does, but just keep it away from me! I'm not tasting it!! One day I was served some chicken that I thought was freshly bought to my surprise it was in the freezer for more then 4 months!! I was so impacted by the result of this vacuum packed machine, taking the air out and sealing long flavor and texture. I looked more into it and found out it is so awesome how this machine works!
